In the Kabanbai Batyr district of Zhezkazgan city, a new educational facility built under the Comfortable School national project was commissioned. The school, designed for 300 students in one shift, is ready to receive its first students from the third quarter of the current academic year. Organisational work is currently underway to launch the educational process.

Ulytau Oblast Akim Dastan Ryspekov personally checked the readiness of the facility to receive children. He congratulated the residents and emphasised the importance of the national project for improving the educational infrastructure in the region.

Before the opening of this school, the district did not have its own educational institution, and children had to travel to the city centre. Now local schoolchildren have a modern, spacious school that meets all the requirements of the national project. The local executive body reported that the school has already enrolled 200 pupils and is recruiting teaching and support staff.

The two-storey building consists of three buildings connected in a rectangular shape, inside of which there is a courtyard for students' recreation. The area of the building is 5,616 square metres, with 26 classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards and modern equipment. The school's territory of about 2 hectares is fully landscaped, with sports and playgrounds installed. A barrier-free environment has been created for children with special educational needs: ramps, lifts, inclusive education rooms, as well as psychologist and speech therapist offices have been equipped.

The construction of the facility was carried out by Nur Astana Kurylys LLP. It is noteworthy that the works were completed earlier than the standard terms - in 9 months instead of the envisaged 15 months.

Thus, the implementation of the national project in the region has been successfully completed, and the new school will serve for the benefit of Zhezkazgan residents.
