Athletics Sports Complex in Nur-Sultan
On November 5, 2020, the facility was put into operation.
In October 2020, the Sports Complex got certified by the IAAF International Association of Athletics Federations. This will make it possible to hold competitions of the highest level in the capital (World Championships, Asian Championships, etc.), train high-quality coaching staff and athletes.
The total land area is 9.5333 hectares;
The building area is 22,143 m2;
The total area of the building is 36,657 m2;
Capacity – 6,838 seats;
Number of floors – 3 + technical floor;
200 m oval run track, 25 m swimming pool, 5x5 m swimming pool with a run track, 36-bed dormitory for athletes, playground, cafeteria and food court, athletic hall, a warm–up track with a 160 m run track, sectors for shotput, high jumps, long jumps.
